While I haven’t met a recipe I haven’t wanted to attempt, there are some beloved treats I bake often. Learn more about what I make and keep scrolling for a gallery of past goodies.
Chocolate Chunk Cookies
These enormous cookies are made with two two different kinds of chopped chocolate bars: dark chocolate and milk chocolate with toffee. My favorite way to end the day is to relax with one of these paired with a glass of milk. Break off a piece, dip, enjoy. Repeat.
Macarons
Two delicate almond merengue cookies hugging a sweet and flavorful filling.
- Strawberry Macarons are filled with strawberry buttercream with a “bullseye” of strawberry jam in the middle. Raspberry and blueberry Macarons are made following the same method.
- Lemon Macarons are the perfect balance of sweet and tart, filled with lemon buttercream and a dollop of lemon curd right in the center
- Chocolate Macarons are filled with a smooth dark chocolate ganache—something about what ganache is?
- Browned Butter Macarons– you just have to try them! Browning the butter before making the buttercream lends an amazing nuttiness to the final product.
- Peppermint Macarons are made with a peppermint buttercream and then gently rolled in crushed peppermint candies.
Scones
Scones are a perfect breakfast treat, and there is nothing quite like one that is fresh-baked right out of the oven. That’s why I make frozen, ready-to-bake scone dough triangles available for you to have warm from your own oven.
Shortbread Cookies
A buttery, melt-in-your-mouth classic! These cookies are just begging to be enjoyed with your morning tea or coffee. Yes, cookies for breakfast is fine by me! Shortbread cookies are a wonderful vehicle for adding subtle flavors. Some of my favorites are lemon & rosemary, espresso & chocolate, and almond. Stay tuned for other creative flavor combos!
Sugar Cookies
While others paint on canvas, these cookies are the home for my art. And while these are almost too beautiful to eat, you should, they’re delicious.
